MARQUETTE — Four suspects were arrested over a two–day period for their involvement in several meth labs around the U.P.

The arrests are a result of a meth enforcement operation coordinated by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.

Detectives say Daniel Soulliere and Joshua Richards, both of Gwinn, were arrested Wednesday and charged with conspiracy to manufacture meth.

The following day, Mindi Smith of Gladstone, and Jason Brazeau of Escanaba were also arrested for maintaining a meth lab and possession of pseudoephedrine. Brazeau also faces a felony count of conspiracy to deliver components to make meth.

Detectives say these arrests stopped the production of three meth labs.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
