Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 5/5-6

Shunk-Grey

It was just your average May afternoon across Upper Michigan, as sunshine and seasonal temps dominated the region. Tonight, the skies will remain clear, as temps stay above average. Lows will bottom out in the low to mid-40s, while winds lighten. Mostly sunny skies stick around on Friday, with much warmer air taking hold.

Highs will top off in the upper-70s and upper-80s, while southwest winds blow at 10 to 20 miles per hour. Tomorrow night, clouds and rain arrive with our next system, as the milder air mass stays in place. Low temps will fall between the mid and upper-40s, while winds shift out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Rain chances leave on Saturday, and behind that will be a cooler but seasonal air mass.
