Aggravated assault case heads to trial

MARQUETTE — A Marquette man facing a charge of aggravated assault is headed to trial.

24-year-old Leon Hall was arrested by the Marquette City Police Department last month on that charge.

Police say Hall was involved in an assault at Coco’s Restaurant in Marquette back in January.

Aggravated assault is a one–year misdemeanor in the State of Michigan.

Hall and another man, 21–year–old David Hunter, were both arrested by police.

Hall’s jury trial is expected to begin on June 15th.
