MARQUETTE — This past weekend was Round II of the Sam versus Food Challenge as ABC 10’s Sam Ali when up against the Big Daddy Rig from Hudson’s Classic Grill and Bar in Marquette.
The burger consists of a two-pound Angus beef patty, stacked generously with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions, served with a big helping of french fries. Many of the employees at Hudson’s offered their support and any kind of advice to Sam, who looked to redeem himself after last week’s failed challenge.
“I would say most people go in not with any plan, and just try to go for it. But definitely you want to make sure you’re drinking lots of fluid because you’re mouth is going to get dry. Some people try to eat the meat first, then the bread, then the fries,” Engle said.
