ESCANABA — Two people are in trouble with the law after police discovered crack cocaine in their vehicle Saturday evening.
Thirtyâ€“nine year old Gilbert Tryan and 58â€“yearâ€“old Sherry Valiquette were both arrested by a deputy with the Delta County Sheriff’s Office.
Tryan is charged with delivery and/or manufacture of cocaine, less than 50 grams. Valiquette faces three charges, including maintaining a drug vehicle.
Valiquette and Tryan were pulled over by police in Ford River Township Saturday at approximately 6:00 p.m. That’s when police found crack cocaine in the vehicle.
Both defendants have preliminary exams scheduled in district court on May 19th.
