Woman arrested in meth bust given jail time

ESCANABA — A woman arrested after a meth lab was discovered at an Escanaba residence has been sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court.

Thirty-five-year old Jennifer Verbrigghe was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for 86 days served. She also received a year of probation. Verbrigghe pleaded guilty to one count of soliciting another to obtain pseudoephedrine.

She was arrested along with 25-year-old Stacey Osby in late January in connection with the meth lab found on South 18th Street. Osby was given a year and a half to twenty years in prison for her involvement.
