Bomb threat found inside school bathroom

L’ANSE — A local high school was on high alert today after a bomb threat was found in a bathroom.

According to the L’Anse Police Department, officers were dispatched to L’Anse High School just before 8:30 this morning after a written bomb threat was found in a student bathroom.

Officers and school officials found nothing out of the ordinary after they searched the building for any suspicious items.

The investigation into the person or persons responsible for the threat remain ongoing.
