Upper Peninsula Weather Forecast 12/30-31

Clouds and snow held strong across the region on Wednesday, making for another gloomy and chilly afternoon. Tonight, we’ll be watching for the light snow to end early and overcast skies to take over. Lows will fall between the low to mid-20s, while winds blow lightly.

Thursday, spotty sunshine will be possible, as winds pick up slightly. Highs will top off in the mid and upper-20s, while winds pick up out of the southwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour.

New Year’s Eve night, overcast skies stick around, but other than that, it should be quiet. Low temps will drop to the upper teens and lower-20s, while winds shift out of the west at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Another small chance of snow arrives New Year’s day, to start the new year off on a wintry note. Happy New Year’s everyone!
