Individual involved in high-speed chase arraigned

IRON MOUNTAIN — The identity of the individual involved in a high-speed chase is now known.

Fifty-one-year old Michael John Santi is charged with one count of fleeing in the 2nd degree, along with one count of assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer. Santi was arrested on Friday after he allegedly led police on the chase that began in Wisconsin and concluded in a crash in Iron Mountain.

Santi is currently lodged in the Dickinson County Jail on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.

A preliminary exam is scheduled for January 5th.
