Upper Peninsula Weather 12/18-19

Lake effect snow fell across the area Friday, with most of the accumulating snow falling across the Keweenaw Peninsula and the eastern shorelines of Lake Superior. It was also cold and blustery, and that is expected to linger on into the overnight. Lows will drop between the low to mid teens, while west winds blow at 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Saturday, any leftover snow showers should come to an end during the morning, with partial clearing later in the day. Highs will top off in the mid and upper-20s, while west winds pick up around 15 to 25 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, skies will remain mostly cloudy, as the winter chill hangs around. Low temps will fall to the upper teens and lower-20s, while winds weaken out of the west at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Milder air returns to the region on Sunday, with temps rising above freezing. Have a great weekend!
