Mining Journal hits the streets with holiday cheer

MARQUETTE — The Mining Journal passed on some holiday cheer with the paper today.

Members of the community who passed by the Mining Journal office on Washington Street could pick up their Black Friday paper on the go. Customers came from the sidewalks or parked their cars along the curb to get their copy during The Mining Journal’s inaugural year of bringing the paper to the streets.

Both Brenda Mozader and Shannon Carter said the event was fun and successful. They plan to make it an annual event for each year before Black Friday.
