MARQUETTE — A man accused of severely injuring a baby back in June has entered a plea agreement.

Twenty-seven-year old Nicholas Racine pleaded no contest to first degree child abuse in Marquette County Circuit Court Friday morning. Racine was arrested for that charge and the charge of torture for the injury of the three-month old infant. The child was treated for multiple rib fractures, hemorrhages, bruises, and bite marks at the University of Michigan.

Racine will be sentenced on January 4th.
