Ladies relax with a little shopping before hectic holiday season

ISHPEMING — Ladies in Ishpeming were enjoying a Ladies Night Out Tuesday evening.

Ladies were invited to come to downtown Ishpeming for shopping, food and a little R&R. Area businesses like Wilderness Sports, Native Nail Salon and Buck’s Restaurant joined in on the fun by offering sales and promotions for shoppers.

“I needed a break. My mother–in–law says, ‘Get out of the house! Go have fun!,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay!'” said Bethany who was out shopping this evening.

“It’s great weather out here, my friend is out having a good time, it’s fun! It’s nice, nice decorations, I enjoyed the goodies,” added another shopper, Pat.

“I just enjoy the Ladies Night Out, its fun!” said Rene.

Shoppers could pick up an Ishpeming Business Association punch card to be entered for prizes. Ladies could also go to a Bazaar at Rollie’s Furniture featuring crafters and artists from the area.
