Suspect in drug investigation pleads guilty

ESCANABA — A Gladstone man arrested on drug charges has entered a plea.

Twenty-seven-year old Lewis Harris pleaded guilty to one count of delivery of the drug buprenorphine. That charge carries a maximum of seven years imprisonment and $10,000 in fines and costs.

Harris was arrested in mid-September as part of an Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team investigation in Escanaba. He will be sentenced on December 21st.
