King of slasher movies, Jason, Freddy or Michael Myers?

MARQUETTE — Halloween is this weekend and many are preparing for Horror Movie Marathons. But which of the classics are you going for?
Jason, Freddy Krueger or Michael Myers?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Around Halloween time, creepy places like cemeteries and slasher movies get your heart pounding and blood boiling, but which of the famous serial killers scare you the most. Jason from Friday the 13th? Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street? Or Michael Myers of Halloween?

I am going to have to go with Jason from the movie, Friday the 13th.  He’s tougher and badder than anyone. He’s a huge guy, he can crush heads, he can do it all. I love it,” said Marquette resident Anton Teske.

“I have to go with Freddy, nothing worse than someone terrorizing you in your dreams,” said Rebecca Kahl, Marquette.

Anton is a true Jason supporter as he has a tattoo of Jason on his leg. But who scares the staff at ABC 10 News?

Sports Director, Sam Ali says, “I would say Freddy Krueger because he has claws, he attacks people in their sleep, I don’t want to be haunted by Freddy in my sleep.”

“I would have to say Michael Myers, because he actually chases you and you never know what he is going to do, the others are just gross. Michael is legitimately scary,” says Katlin Conner, News Anchor.

News Director Jerry Taylor says,” I’ve seen all three movies and Freddy Krueger scares the crap out of me. I do not want to see remnants of him anywhere, anywhere.”

Reporter Sarah Mac, adds, “I think the scariest would have to be Freddy Krueger from the movie Nightmare on Elm Street, because he attacks you in your dreams and that is something everyone can relate to.”

“Michael Myers because no matter how fast you run, he will walk, slowly, and he will still catch you. You can’t kill him, he just lingers,” adds, Caleb Scanlon, Reporter.

Anchor, Danielle Davis adds, “I don’t  go walking in the woods at night, alone….If I hear a strange noise, I don’t go check it out. But I do have to sleep, so I have to go with Freddy Krueger, anyone that can kill you in your dreams… I’m done, because I have to sleep.”
