Huskies football fall in rankings to #22

HOUGHTON — The D2 football rankings are out and the Huskies are falling at an alarming pace.

Michigan Tech is now down to #22, down six spots from last week and 13 spots in the last two weeks after back to back road losses to Grand Valley State and Ferris State. The Huskies come in at #22 as well on the American Football Coaches Association Poll, down six from the week before.

Tech will look to bounce back in their final home game of the season this Saturday against Tiffin.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm.

Minnesota State was upset by unranked Winona State and we have a new number one…West Georgia. Ferris State is number 2. Ashland moves up to sixth after their come from behind victory over Northern Michigan.

Grand Valley moves up four spots to number 10.
