State Police release school bus safety inspection results

LANSING, MI — The Michigan State Police have completed their annual safety inspections of every bus in the state.

Of the nearly 16,000 buses that were inspected, 85% of them passed the initial inspection during the 2014/15 school year. 730 additional buses were inspected after they failed the initial inspection.

Buses that didn’t pass the initial inspection received either a red or yellow tag. To see how your school district’s buses faired, click HERE to view the full report.
