ESCANABA — A Delta County man arrested as part of a big drug bust by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team was sentenced Wednesday morning in circuit court.
27–year–old Joshua Lockhart of Escanaba will serve six months in jail with credit for time served. He pleaded guilty in late July to attempted delivery of a controlled substance.
Lockhart was one of 13 people arrested by UPSET detectives in March for delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance, in this case, buprenorphine.
In addition to his jail sentence, Lockhart’s drivers license has been suspended for six months.
