MARQUETTE — You don’t have to be a construction worker to build a house and Marquette’s 40 Below is proving that.

40 Below is Marquette’s young professional’s organization. Normally you would see them in suits and ties, but Wednesday, volunteers from the group came out to help Habitat for Humanity build a house.

“Its fun to get out of the suits and ties and get together in a different environment and make a difference in the community,” said 40 Below treasurer Kate Havel, “Any type of these events are about getting together and meeting young professionals in the community and of course giving back at the same time.”

The event was planned to honor the 9/11 Day of Service. 40 Below will be back at the build site tomorrow.
