Police looking for hit and run suspect

MARQUETTE — The Marquette City Police Department is looking for information in a hit and run accident that happened Monday.

Just before 3:00 p.m., the police department was dispatched to the intersection of McClellan Avenue and Ridge Street in Marquette for a two-vehicle accident. The vehicles involved were a silver Chevrolet Silverado and a white Subaru Outback.

Police are looking for the driver of the Silverado. The pickup is said to have two orange ladder racks on it with damage to the front end and the passenger side.

The driver is said to be a 40-year-old white male with brown hair. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Marquette Police Department at (906) 228-0400.
