FORSYTH TOWNSHIP — Police are looking for the owners of items allegedly stolen during a string of camp break-ins in Forsyth Township over the summer.

Officers from the Forsyth Township Police Department say a search warrant executed in the Little Lake area last week turned up property missing from some of the camps that were broken into. More property was recovered during that search that has yet to be identified.

Police will hold a viewing of the recovered property on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where those who may have suffered a theft will be asked to describe the item belonging to them. They will then be escorted by staff to view those items. The following items are among those recovered:

  • Gas cans
  • Generators
  • A bow
  • Tools
  • Car battery jump packs
  • Flashlights
  • Knives
  • A winch
  • Paint guns

Police are asking the possible owners of these items to contact the Forsyth Township Police Department at (906) 346-9224. The string of camp break-ins remains under investigation.
