Personal injury accident sends two people to the hospital
IRON MOUNTAIN — Two people were sent to the hospital after a two-car accident Wednesday afternoon in Iron Mountain.
Just after 1:15 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to an accident scene on US-2 in front of the Northside Car Wash. Police determined that a pickup truck driven by a 21-year-old man, pulled out of the car wash and into the path of a south bound pickup truck that was pulling a camper.
The pickup truck driven of the 21-year-old sustained significant damage to the drivers side. Both drivers were taken to Dickinson County Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The 21-year-old was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way.
