Two car accident injures two
BLANEY PARK — A man is in trouble with the law after a two-car accident in Schoolcraft County Saturday afternoon.
Police were dispatched to the scene three miles north on M-77 in Blaney Park. 71-year-old Pamela Jones of Atlanta, MI was rear-ended by another car, driven by a 61-year-old Curtis man. Both vehicles went off of the road and into a ditch.
The investigation by police determined that the 61-year-old Curtis man was Operating Under the Influence of Drugs (Prescription Drugs). Police will press charges against the man. His name has not been released, pending his arraignment.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Schoolcraft County Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
