Head football coach resigns

GLADSTONE — Big news out of Gladstone according to the Escanaba Daily Press; Cody Kangas has stepped down as the head coach of the football team.

Kangas spent two seasons with the Braves, compiling a 3-15 record. He is also stepping down as the head basketball coach at Superior Central High School after one season.

The Daily Press says Kangas has accepted a physical education teacher position at Forest Area High School.
