Sugarloaf Avenue closed

MARQUETTE — According to the city of Marquette, Sugarloaf Avenue will be closed to through traffic effective Tuesday morning.

Traffic that would normally be traveling through Wright Street and Hawley Street will be detoured through Presque Isle Avenue. The closure is in place to allow for road repairs at the intersection of Sugarloaf and Hawley.

Those who are visiting Tourist Park Campground, N.M.U.’s Jacobetti Center and N.M.U.’s Services and Public Safety will have access through Wright Street only. The repairs are expected to be completed by this Friday.
