CEO leaving UP Health System – Marquette
MARQUETTE — UP Health System – Marquette announced a change to its top executive position Wednesday.
Current CEO Ed Banos will be departing to pursue an opportunity at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. In his stead, UP Health System Market President Jim Bogan will be assuming the top leadership role at the hospital while a national search is launched to find a new permanent CEO.
Bogan will take over on an interim basis beginning June 11th. He said in a statement the leadership change will not impact progress on the new hospital in Marquette or the expansion of several key medical services.
Bogan will maintain his duties as Market President while serving as interim CEO.
