Buprenorphine suspect enters guilty plea

ESCANABA — An Escanaba woman facing drug charges after a major UPSET bust has entered a plea in Delta County Circuit Court.

36-year-old Jaime Mason pleaded guilty to one count of maintaining a drug house Wednesday morning. As part of the plea agreement, two counts of delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance will be dismissed.

Mason was among fourteen suspects arrested on March 25th by UPSET detectives after multiple investigations into the sale and distribution of the drug buprenorphine. She will be sentenced June 22nd.
