ISHPEMING — In just a few weeks, Las Vegas is coming to Ishpeming. Red Rock Lanes and Banquet Center will be hosting the event put together by the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce and Eagle Mine on Saturday, May 16th.

Vegas comes to Ishpeming is open to all members of the public who are 18 or older. A twenty five dollar entry ticket will give participants appetizers and fifty dollars in gaming chips. The event looks to bring all of the fun, style and attraction of Las Vegas into a night for everyone.

“We have created it to be something that there’s something for everyone to enjoy,” said Marketing & Communications Coordinator Ashley Geist, “the whole place is open to this event; you can participate in bowling, you can participate in pool, you can participate in golf, and then there is going to also be the casino side with the casino games and things like that, and we’re also going to have a spa there.”

The Chamber of Commerce says they have re-structured some of the payout scales and games so the odds are in favor of the people playing. And even if you don’t have luck at the tables, you might win one of the door prizes that will be given away throughout the night.
