MARQUETTE — With Marquette Restaurant Week in full swing, there are lots of delicious deals to be found. Coco’s has some unique new dishes every day this week that are a must have.

Coco’s has been a part of the Eastside Originals Restaurant Association since it opened its doors. Owner Jackie Gonda says it’s a great way of promoting local flavors, but unlike some of the other participating restaurants, Coco’s is offering a new dish every day.

“We always have daily specials, so it makes it pretty fun for us because we can be creative and do something different. It’s a nice way for us to be able to try something new and see if people are going to enjoy it and if we should put it on our menu,” said Jackie Gonda, the owner of Coco’s.

Since it’s Lent, Coco’s will be offering lots of fish dishes, including a salmon special. They’ll also have their regular meals, like crepes, quiches, and homemade soups. But, don’t look for them downtown: Coco’s a bit off the beaten path from the main festivities.

“We’re right across from the water. So we have a great view and right now, and with that open water out there, it’s looking like spring!” Gonda added.

All restaurants participating in restaurant week have a $10 brunch special and a $25 dinner special.
