CALUMET — A vehicle stolen in Ishpeming was recovered in Osceola Township Sunday.

Troopers from the Calumet Post of the Michigan State Police say they found a suspicious vehicle parked behind the Holiday gas station at around 12:30 a.m. while on patrol. They approached the car and made contact with four juveniles who had recently escaped from the Great Lakes Recovery Center in Negaunee.

The juveniles allegedly took the vehicle the previous night while it had been left running to warm up. Two boys, ages 15 and 16, and two girls, ages 14 and 15, were apprehended for possession of a stolen vehicle. The 15–year–old boy was also charged with possession of marijuana and suspected meth.

Troopers turned the four back over to the detention center. They will be facing more charges in Marquette County. No names are being released due to the age of the suspects.
