Dickinson County meth suspect gets jail time

IRON MOUNTAIN — A Kingsford man will spend at least four years in prison for his role in an Iron Mountain meth lab.

Dennis Schuirmann, 41, was sentenced Tuesday in Dickinson County Circuit Court to a minimum of 50 months in jail and a maximum of 20 years.

Schuirmann was originally charged with operating/maintaining a meth lab, delivery/manufacture of meth and possession of meth. He later plead guilty to manufacture of meth and possession of meth.

Schuirmann’s co-defendant, Anita Lindlbauer, 32, of Iron Mountain, has a jury trial set to begin in April. She also has a motions hearing in May for an unrelated probation violation.

Schuirmann and Lindlbauer were arrested last October after the KIND Drug Enforcement Team discovered a meth lab on Pewabic Street in Iron Mountain.
