Unlawful entry suspect returns to court in February
ESCANABA — A Gladstone man will head to court in February, accused of trying to enter a house that wasn’t his.
Kristofer Lavigne, 33, is charged with breaking and entering and illegal entry without the owner’s permission. Both offenses are 90–day misdemeanors.
Lavigne had a pretrial conference Friday and has a supplemental pretrial on February 20th. A trial date has not been set yet.
Gladstone Public Safety says the incident he’s charged in connection with happened on the 1400 block of Wisconsin Avenue on January 15th.
Officers accuse Lavigne of trying to enter a house through a locked back door, but they say he was unable to do so.
