U.P. Weather Forecast 1/28-29

Clouds covered the region throughout the afternoon on Wednesday, as temps warmed into the upper 20s. Temps look to be much warmer tonight, with a blanket of clouds keeping us mild along with light snow. Lows will drop around the low to mid-20s, while south winds blow between 5 to 15 miles per hour.

Weather Forecast:

Thursday, light snow lingers early in the morning, before decreasing during the afternoon. Expect between 1″-3″ to fall, as temps begin to tumble. Highs will top off in the low-30s during the morning, with mid teens expected late in the afternoon. Winds shift and blast out of the northwest at 15 to 25 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, snow showers begin to leave, as frigid air arrives. Low temps will bottom out just below 0, as northwest winds zip by around 10 to 20 miles per hour. This will continue to blow snow, creating low visibilities. We’ll be much colder on Friday, as highs are only expected in the low to mid teens.
