Upper Peninsula Weekend Weather Forecast 1/16-19

Colder air blasted back into the region today, knocking temps down to the teens. Tonight, we’ll see temps drop quickly, before milder air arrives after midnight.

Weather Forecast:

Lows will bottom out around the lower teens, while winds blow out of the south at 5 to 15 miles per hour. Starting off Saturday, temps should have warmed back into the upper teens, setting us up to have a mild afternoon, as snow moves in. Highs will top off in the low to mid-30s, as winds strengthen out of the south at 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Tomorrow night, the snow continues to fall, leading to accumulations around an inch or two. Low temps will drop between the mid and upper-20s, with winds shifting out of the northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour. Sunday on and off snow showers will continue, with another wave of cold air arriving that night. Have a great weekend!
