More arctic air spilled into the region Friday, but this time it wasn’t quite as harsh. Temps topped off in the middle single digits, but heading into the overnight, watch out for sub-zero numbers to enter. Light flurries look to continue tonight as the fresh arctic air settles in.
Lows will bottom out between -7 to -12 degrees, with southwest winds blowing between 10 to 15 miles per hour. Saturday, clouds break apart, allowing sunshine to arrive later in the afternoon. Highs will reach the upper single digits and lower teens, as southwest winds continue at 10 to 20 miles per hour.
Tomorrow night get ready for another frigid evening under partly cloudy skies. Lows will fall just below the 0 degree mark, as southwest winds weaken around 5 to 10 miles per hour. Sunday brings milder air back to the area as temps fight back into the mid and upper teens. Have a great weekend!
