Court delay for suspects in Menominee County home invasion

MENOMINEE — Two young Green Bay men suspected in a Menominee County break-in that turned deadly have to wait two more weeks to return to court.

Thomas Hartman, 20, and Matthew Franjose, 19, are both charged with first-degree home invasion. They were scheduled to have a District Court preliminary exam this afternoon.

However, the prosecution asked for a continuance and both defense attorneys agreed to it. Hartman and Franjose will be back in District Court for a pretrial conference on January 23rd.

They were two of the three people believed to be involved in a break-in on Range Line Drive in Mellen Township in November. Police found a third suspect, Hayden Gagnon, 19, of Pulaski, Wisconsin, dead in the home. The unidentified homeowner shot him.
