Gwinn man pleads guilty in sex abuse case

MARQUETTE — A Gwinn man who was scheduled to go to trial today on criminal sexual conduct charges has pleaded guilty.

Steven Miller, 49, has admitted to assault with intent to commit sexual penetration. He was originally charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with an incapacitated victim and fourth-degree CSC.

Miller was also charged as a habitual offender, second offense. He’s scheduled for sentencing on December 5th.

The Forsyth Township Police arrested Miller last December. Police say the case comes from an incident that took place last fall.
