Sault Ste. Marie man to spend up to 20 years in prison on meth charge

SAULT STE. MARIE — A Sault Ste. Marie man was sentenced to prison Tuesday in Chippewa County Circuit Court.

Kevin Farnquist, 36, will spend between 40 months and 20 years in prison for possession of meth with drug double enforcement.  He was credited for over 260 days served.

Farnquist and three other Sault Ste. Marie residents were arrested in January after a meth lab was discovered in a duplex on Andary Street.
