Ironwood woman sentenced on drug charge

BESSEMER — A Gogebic County woman will spend six months in jail on a drug charge.

In addition to jail time, Alyssa Pollard, 23, of Ironwood was sentenced to 18 months probation. She was credited for 136 days served and is ordered to pay $198 in court fees.

She had pleaded guilty to one count of delivery/manufacture of a schedule 1,2, and 3 controlled substance, except marijuana. Three additional drug charges were dropped for her guilty plea.

Pollard was arrested with Joshua Anderson, 31, in May at a residence at 137 W. Ridge Street Ironwood.  Anderson is scheduled for trial in U.S. District Court in Marquette October 20.
