Iron Mountain man who fled police and crashed car sentenced

IRON MOUNTAIN — An Iron Mountain man will spend six months in jail after fleeing police this summer.

Brandon Rose, 27, was sentenced Monday in Dickinson County Circuit Court.  In addition to jail time, Rose is ordered to pay $2,128 in court fines and costs.  He pleaded no contest to fleeing and eluding police in the fourth degree and operating with a high BAC.

The charges stem from an incident in June after a reported fight between Rose and a family member.  Rose fled the scene after police arrived and crashed his vehicle into a power pole.
