MARQUETTE — A Marquette man has opted out of going to trial.
Steven Baker, 22, is accused of robbing a pizza delivery man at gunpoint in February in the city of Marquette.
A trial was scheduled to start September 9, but instead Baker pled guilty to two charges: felony firearms and larceny from a person Friday in Marquette County Circuit Court. A charge of armed robbery and an additional firearms charge was dropped.
He will be sentenced October 17.
