INDIANAPOLIS – Former Northern Michigan University defenseman/forward Kyle Follmer signed a one–year deal with the Indy Fuel of the East Coast Hockey League. The Fuel is a new franchise in the ECHL. They are the affiliate of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks.
Follmer can play both up front and on the blue line for Indy. He accumulated 67 points (15 goals, 52 assists) in 152 career games at Northern Michigan. He missed a majority of last season due to a hip injury.
