If you’re a cable TV customer in the Upper Peninsula, you’ve probably noticed by now that not all of your favorite channels are where they used to be. Government access channels in the Marquette area are no exception.

As part of the switch to all-digital signals that took place last week, Charter Communications has moved channel 21, the home of Marquette City Commission meetings, to channel 191. Although it’s in a new place, the programming and scheduling will remain the same.

The same can be said for Marquette Township. Their programming has moved from channel 8 to channel 188.

The City of Ishpeming’s access channel has relocated from channel 19 to channel 189. Northern Michigan University’s channel has also moved from channel 20 to channel 190. Their program schedules haven’t changed either.
