Anderson continues football career in CFL

Zach Anderson is back playing with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL) this season. It’s his second season north of the border.

On Thursday night, the former Northern Michigan University football standout had four tackles and two sacks in the Bombers 26-3 loss to Edmonton. Winnipeg is 3-1 this season. Anderson has missed two of Winnipeg’s four games because of a lingering heel injury. He has eight tackles and three sacks in those two games played.

Anderson and the Blue Bombers are next in action Friday, July 25 at the B.C. Lions. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m.
