Police and suspect exchange gunfire in Alger County
Police were reportedly involved in a shootout with a suspect in Alger County Monday evening.
The Michigan State Police say a patrol car from the Munising City Police Department was pursuing a suspect. The pursuit ended on Buckhorn Road.
Police say the suspect crashed their vehicle, came out of the car, and started to shoot at police. The police fired back.
There is no word on any injuries, and police say the suspect is at the scene.
