Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in western Marquette County Tuesday afternoon resulting in non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers from the Negaunee Post of the Michigan State Police say Thomas Davis, 77, of Marquette was driving a 2005 Dodge van eastbound on U.S. 41 in Ely Township near County Road CP when he attempted to pull into a business and failed to yield the right of way. His van hit a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up driven by Collin Pace, 20, of Marquette.
Davis was transported to Bell Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, and Pace sought treatment at the hospital after complaining of pain.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
The crash remains under investigation.
