Baseball: Garling leads Indians past rival Cubs

GLADSTONE – Whether he’s in a Gladstone Braves or Gladstone Indians baseball uniform, Hunter Garling just continues to hit the baseball. Garling knocked in four runs on Thursday night, as the Indians held off rival Escanaba, 5-2.

Garling had two more rbis Is in the second and two more in the third. Logan Hiem had the other RBI for the Indians. Christian Tackman and Jake Pearson combined to throw a three-hitter for Gladstone.
