Conner agrees to deal with Capitals

Chris Conner has played on four different National Hockey League teams. The former Michigan Tech Husky has added a fifth franchise to his resume.

Conner agreed to a one–year, two-way deal with the Washington Capitals late Tuesday night. The 30–year–old forward split time last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins and their minor league affiliate, the Portland Pirates.

Conner scored four goals in 19 games last season with the Penguins. The financial terms of Conner’s contract have not been released.
