Green Bay man sentenced to up to 30 years in prison for Subway robberies

A Green Bay man who robbed two Subway restaurants in Escanaba over two years ago will spend up to 30 years in prison.

Brook Grzelak, 51, was sentenced as a four-time habitual offender Tuesday on five felony counts in Delta County Circuit Court. He will serve a minimum of 6 years, 4 months in prison with a maximum of 30 years for each of the two counts of breaking and entering with intent; 9 years, 6 months to 30 years for each of the two counts of safe breaking; and 4 to 15 years on one count of possession of burglary tools.

All of his sentences will run concurrently, but Grzelak was credited for 539 days served on each count.

Grzelak robbed two Subway restaurants in Escanaba in 2012, one on Ludington Street and one on Lincoln Road.
