Federal drug charges brought against Ironwood man
An Ironwood man is now facing federal drug charges after the Gogebic County Prosecutor’s Office dismissed state charges against him.
Joshua Anderson, 31, stood mute during his arraignment in U.S. District Court in Marquette June 11. By doing so, Anderson did not plea either way to three charges: conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, controlled substance–selling, distributing, dispensing, and controlled substance–selling, distributing, dispensing meth.
His co-defendant, Alyssa Pollard 23, is still facing state drug charges, including delivery/manufacture of marijuana and maintaining a drug house. She will appear in Gogebic County Circuit Court June 26 for an all-purpose hearing.
Anderson and Pollard were arrested in May by the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Enforcement Team.
A new court date for Anderson has not been scheduled yet.
